After qualifying as an Architectural Technician, Kyle faced significant challenges in securing employment despite numerous interviews. It became increasingly clear that many workplaces were not accessible to individuals with disabilities. While Kyle is capable of multitasking, answering phones, meeting clients, and visiting job sites using his mental abilities, he is limited physically. Several years ago, Kyle was advised to contact The Spectator to share his experiences of seeking employment as a disabled individual. However, he wondered what he could say when finding employment is challenging for everyone.

Now, a decade later, we have a STORY to share about Kyle's journey with Cerebral Palsy. It was a pleasure for him to meet and be interviewed by one of Hamilton Spectator's esteemed reporters, Jeff Mahoney. Kyle never imagined he would be interviewed by a reporter. He extends his gratitude to Jeff for showing interest in his story and giving him the opportunity to share it with a wider audience.
