Kyle is thrilled to announce his achievement as a published author.
Kyle wishes to share the story of his inspiration to write his memoir. During his teenage years, a family friend of his uncle and aunt gifted him a book authored by her nephew, entitled "Growing up with Cerebral Palsy," during a family visit to Florida. In those formative years, living with cerebral palsy left him uncertain about his future, such as whether he could work, live independently, or perhaps even find love. Despite these uncertainties, Kyle pursued his hopes, dreams, and goals. Through reading that book, he gained confidence and strength, never relinquishing his aspirations. The memoir inspired Kyle to aim high, and he extends his gratitude to Mark for his encouragement and inspiration. May Mark rest in peace.
Kyle's aim is to connect with people of all abilities, both able-bodied and disabled. He has drawn inspiration from individuals with cerebral palsy, such as Mark E. Smith, Abbey Curran (Miss Iowa USA 2008), RJ Mitte from the TV series "Breaking Bad," Zach Anner, the comedian, actor, and writer who gained fame from Oprah Winfrey’s “Search for the Next TV Star” competition, Micah D. Fowler from ABC’s sitcom "Speechless," and Josh Blue, the comedian from "America’s Got Talent 2021."
The journey has been immensely rewarding thus far. With the publication of Kyle's memoir, an article in an international magazine, offering advice to CP patients and their parents globally, participating in a worldwide disability event via Zoom, and appearing on a podcast from the United States, Kyle has achieved more than he ever imagined. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering love and support of his family and friends.
