In honour of this day, we are celebrating the past, present, and future of living with cerebral palsy.
Over the past five years, Kyle has met numerous individuals living with CP from around the world who have successfully achieved their life goals. These individuals include beauty pageant contestants, movie and television stars, comedians, police officers, teachers, educational assistants, authors, Paralympic athletes, and many other professionals who share our passion.
Kyle had the pleasure of being a guest author at his cousin's school, where he engaged with grade 3/4 students by reading "Big Brave Boy" and sharing his personal story. The class was thoroughly engaged and asked many insightful questions.
Kyle believes this exemplifies why we celebrate World CP Day and share our stories with everyone.
The color green represents cerebral palsy (CP) awareness and is used to show support, raise awareness, and advocate for those with the condition.
Thank you, Oneida Central School, for this wonderful opportunity.
Happy World CP Day!
