Boccia Blast - Mississauga, ON - June 2024

Kyle is delighted to celebrate their remarkable teammates who secured medals at the 2024 Boccia Blast this past weekend. Despite a challenging start with some difficult matches, Kyle demonstrated resilience and won the final three matches. Although Kyle finished fourth due to the high level of competition, he was tied for gold and gave it his utmost effort.

It was an honour for Kyle to compete at his best game yet against Lance, Canada’s top competitor, ranked tenth in the world. The laughter and camaraderie shared between ends made the event an unforgettable experience. It is rare for spectators to witness two athletes conversing and laughing between ends, possibly even sharing a drink afterward. As a returning Paralympian, Lance represents Team Canada and is striving to secure a spot on the delegation for the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Lance is not only an outstanding athlete but also a teammate, friend, and mentor. Kyle wishes him continued success in achieving his personal goals!
