The Birmingham 2026 World Boccia Challenger marked another important milestone in Kyle Scott's athletic journey. Every international competition presents new challenges, valuable lessons, and opportunities to continue growing as an athlete.
Kyle was proud to represent Canada alongside an outstanding group of teammates while competing against some of the world's best athletes. Every match challenged him to elevate his game, and he leaves Birmingham with greater confidence, valuable experience, and even more motivation for what's ahead.
One of the highlights of the week was competing with his new team for the very first time. Through teamwork, trust, and combining their strengths, they proudly stood on the podium together, earning the Bronze Medal. 🥉
A special thank you to teammates Olivier and Liza. This was just the beginning, and Kyle looks forward to seeing what they can accomplish together in the future. 🔴⚪️🔵
The journey didn't end there. After returning home, Kyle had just one day to recover before jumping straight into another competition in Mississauga.

These past few weeks have given Kyle a true appreciation for what it means to be a high-performance athlete—travelling, training, competing, recovering, and doing it all over again. It has been physically and mentally demanding, but he wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Each competition continues to shape him as both an athlete and a person.
Now it's time for a well-earned week to regroup, recover, and refocus before preparing for the Ontario Boccia Championships in just a few weeks.
Kyle extends his sincere gratitude to his coaches, support staff, mental performance consultants, teammates, family, friends, and everyone who has supported him throughout this journey. Their encouragement, belief, and support have played an important role in helping him reach this point.
The season isn't over yet. More goals to chase. More lessons to learn. More opportunities to grow.
On to the next challenge. 🔴⚪️🔵🍁
