What a Memorable Weekend in Belleville - July 2026

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the CN Yardmen Memorial outside the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. The memorial honours the generations of railroad workers whose dedication helped shape the Belleville community and marks the site of the original Belleville Yardmen Arena. Taking time to explore its history was a meaningful reminder of the people and stories that laid the foundation for future generations.

The weekend also brought its share of challenges. On the final day of competition, Kyle battled through an illness (not contagious). It wasn't the finish he had envisioned, but Kyle stayed determined, gave everything he had, and was proud to come away with a silver medal. 🥈

Every competition brings new lessons, every journey creates new memories, and every challenge makes us stronger.
