This year's Nationals were held at one of Canada's most iconic venues—the Richmond Olympic Oval. You may recall the excitement of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Kyle found himself in the very arena where history was made. Originally designed for speed skating, this remarkable venue has been transformed into a dynamic multi-sport complex, featuring ice hockey rinks, running tracks, a climbing wall, and much more.

As the team approached the Oval, a wave of excitement swept over Kyle. He was about to enter a space that had welcomed Olympians and Paralympians alike. Kyle never imagined he would leave his own mark in such a historic location. Upon entering, we were greeted by stunning displays, including the impressive Olympic torch relay map—a journey of over 45,000 km that inspired people across Canada.

Kyle's individual performance had its challenges, and he did not advance to the semifinals this time. However, in the team event, we excelled. Team O secured the GOLD for the second consecutive year. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase their skills and collaborate for this remarkable victory. It was a true team effort, and their hard work truly paid off!
