Growing up, Kyle remembers visiting Tim Hortons and collecting NHL trading cards whenever possible. These cards represented the athletes he admired—individuals who inspired him to dream big.
Sports trading cards have existed since the late 1860s, initially created as promotional "trade cards" for sporting goods. Over time, they have become symbols of sport, stories of athletes, and moments in history.
Never in his wildest dreams did Kyle imagine that one day he would have his own sports trading card. Today, he is incredibly proud to share his first official trading card as an International Boccia athlete.
This moment is about more than just a card—it represents the journey, the challenges, the support from so many people along the way, and the opportunity to continue raising awareness for the remarkable sport of Boccia.
Kyle is grateful to Kaleb Brown for bringing this idea to life and creating something that celebrates the sport and the journey behind it.
Moments like this remind us of how powerful sport can be in telling stories, building community, and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
Now the real question is . . . who wants the first card in the collection? Better grab one early—it might be worth something someday!
